Who
{ Cincinnati Riverfront Coliseum }

Thu Jan 22 15:01:10 CST 1998
Promoter: Electric Factory
Security:
Where: Cincinnati, USA
When: 3-Dec-79
Stage: indoors

I was there, near the door where it all happened. Just an 18 year old kid. There was a lot of mis-information that was printed or said in the press then, and ever since. It wasn't a stampede. It was preventable. The security inside the venue made the situation much worse, I remember. I remember the faces of men inside the coliseum who pulled shut exit doors, thus eliminating a release of pressure. That pressure eventually killed 11 kids. I, along with two buddies, wer stuck in a slow and deadly whirlpool of humans for almost an hour after the doors were opened on the plaza level. We were approximately 40 feet from the entrance; normally it should have only taken 10 minutes to get inside. I still hear the screaming.
