Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Good Charlotte, Sum41, and Sparta
{ Deck the Hall Ball at Key Arena }

Friday, December 20, 2002 1:49:16 PM
Promoter: The End 107.7
Security: Key Arena
Where: Seattle, WA
When: 12/12/02
Stage: indoors

The show was general admission and when people were let inside everyone was civil and sitting on the floor. Once a member of Good Charlotte started signing autographs everyone rushed the stage. After the first act during intermission the crowd started pushing forward and since I was in the 6th row on the floor roughly I almost went under about 8-10 times before I had to get out of the pile. People were hurt and helped over the wall. The rest of the concert I had to sit back in the grandstands because I was too mentally shaken to be anywhere near the floor. From afar you could see the clouds of smoke from the pot smokers as well as the croud surfers being helped over the rails. The tickets said no body surfing/moshing yet it was allowed to happen. Plus security didn't go after anyone smoking pot. Sad production...the concert was great for the most part but because of the violence and drugs it wasn't all that enjoyable
