I had a bad feeling that this concert was going to have a lot of pushing/moshing/crowd surfing, and I was right. I love NIN and Trent Reznor, and they gave a great performance, but the overall experience was extremely unpleasant. I was crushed and unable to breathe at one point, and my purpose in being there, seeing and hearing the show, was made impossible. I think it was a combination of the venue being too small and over-selling the show, and the people in attendance being completely inconsiderate. Maybe this is an unpopular stance, some people insisting that at a concert like this, one just has to accept that kind of behavior, but I won't back down. I love the music, but hate the pushy assholes, and I don't think I should have to accomodate THEM by standing off to the side. I've been to plenty of concerts, ROCK concerts with general admission, where people didn't push or mosh, and it was a good experience for everyone. What happened to common courtesy?
